AI Visibility Report
Ongoing research tracking how well business websites are structured for AI visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Claude to recommend a business — a dentist, a law firm, an online store — the AI draws its answer from structured signals it can reliably read. Most business websites weren't built with those signals in mind. The result: businesses that are well-known locally or rank well on Google often don't appear in AI responses at all.
This report tracks, from real AI-visibility scans of business websites, how widespread the gaps are. For each site scanned, we check whether it has structured schema markup, whether AI assistants currently cite it, whether it has an llms.txt file, whether it contains FAQ content, whether its NAP (name, address, phone) data is complete, and whether its content structure is readable by AI. The data comes from initial outreach scans and updates regularly as more businesses are scanned.
