1. What We Collect
When you use VizyReport we collect:
- Account information: Email address and password (hashed) when you register.
- Business information: Business name, website, location, and category that you provide to generate your report.
- Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data: Pages visited, report history, and support tickets submitted.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate your AI visibility report by querying ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude with your business details.
- To send you your report results, account updates, and support responses via email.
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To improve our scoring algorithms and report quality over time.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising.
3. AI Engine Queries
To generate your report, we send your business name, location, and category to third-party AI services including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Perplexity AI, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude). These queries are subject to the respective privacy policies of each provider. We send only the minimum information needed to run the visibility check.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe with no card data touching our servers. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Report data may be retained in anonymized form for product improvement purposes.
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request your report data in a machine-readable format.

7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
