# VizyReport > VizyReport is an AI search visibility platform that helps businesses measure and improve how they appear in recommendations from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. ## What We Do VizyReport runs real API queries to four major AI engines—the same way a customer would search—and measures how often a business name appears in the responses. Each scan produces an AI Visibility Score across four weighted components: AI Presence (40%), Technical Readiness (30%), Authority (20%), and Content Coverage (10%). Based on those results, paid subscribers receive a monthly deliverable package that includes schema markup code, NAP copy, directory targets, and a review email sequence, plus weekly scans and custom GEO articles on the Pro tier. ## How It Works ### The Four AI Engines Every report makes real API calls to the same production AI engines customers use: - **ChatGPT** (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini) — the most widely used AI assistant; heavily influences purchase and service decisions - **Perplexity** (Sonar) — real-time AI search that cites sources and browses the web live; fast-growing for local and product research - **Gemini** (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash) — deeply integrated with Google's knowledge graph and local business data; critical for local visibility - **Claude** (Anthropic) — increasingly used for research and business recommendations across professional contexts ### Search Phrases VizyReport generates 6 phrases (Starter) or 15 phrases plus 60 expanded natural-language prompts (Pro) based on the business's type, category, city, and provided keywords. These replicate the actual queries potential customers use when asking AI engines for recommendations—phrases like "best coffee shop in Seattle" or "ergonomic office chair under $500." Pro clients can supply their own preferred keywords during onboarding; VizyReport uses those directly and generates AI variations to complete the full set. ### Scoring For each phrase-and-engine combination, VizyReport records whether the business name appears in the response. Paid reports run 3 separate query passes and average the results for score stability—AI responses vary between queries, so averaging produces a more reliable baseline. Score ranges: - **70–100 — Strong AI Visibility**: AI engines consistently recommend the business - **40–69 — Partial Visibility**: the business appears in some queries; competitors are winning others - **0–39 — Low Visibility**: AI engines rarely recommend the business; foundational GEO work needed The displayed score applies smoothing: 65% current composite score + 35% prior month's smoothed score, preventing swings from a single scan. Month-over-month trends are tracked in the Citation Tracker. ### Four Score Components **AI Presence (40%)** — percentage of queries where the business name appeared in engine responses, across all engines and all samples. **Technical Readiness (30%)** — four boolean signals, averaged: 1. Schema markup present on the website (detected from site analysis) 2. NAP data complete in the VizyReport profile (name, address, and phone number filled in) 3. Crawlability confirmed (robots.txt does not block AI crawlers) 4. llms.txt file present on the business's website **Authority (20%)** — based on the number of directory submissions the client has confirmed in their dashboard plus whether review platforms (Google, Yelp, BBB, Trustpilot) show a presence. **Content Coverage (10%)** — based on published content items the client confirms via dashboard checkboxes as live on their site. ## Who It's For VizyReport supports five business types. Each gets category-specific search phrases, schema recommendations, and deliverables. **Real Estate Agents & Brokerages** — When a buyer asks an AI assistant for an agent recommendation, the engine returns a short confident list before the buyer opens any portal. Agents appear in those answers when their expertise is represented in structured data AI can read (LocalBusiness and RealEstateAgent schema), their Google Business Profile is complete and current, and their reputation is consistent across review platforms. Only 6.4% of top agent websites correctly implement the schema that tells AI who they are; 17% inadvertently block AI crawlers in their robots.txt. **Local Businesses** — For "best near me" queries, AI engines draw on Google Business Profile data more heavily than website copy, cross-reference it against Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, Foursquare, and BBB, and lower confidence in any business with inconsistent NAP across those sources. A SOCi 2026 study of over 350,000 locations found only 1.2% were recommended by ChatGPT versus 35.9% appearing in Google's local 3-pack. BrightLocal reported consumer use of AI for local business discovery jumped from 6% to 45% in early 2026. **Ecommerce Stores** — AI shopping recommendations are driven by structured product data, complete and accurate Google Shopping feeds, and Product schema. ChatGPT draws roughly 83% of its shopping data from Google Shopping feeds; an audit of top ecommerce sites found 45% of product pages had no structured data at all. AI-referred shoppers convert at approximately 4.4× the rate of organic search visitors (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, 2025). **National & Online Services** — For SaaS companies, national service providers, and online platforms, AI visibility is a brand authority problem. Entity clarity—consistent identity across Wikipedia, G2, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and the brand's own site—carries as much weight as schema. G2's 2026 "Answer Economy" study found 51% of B2B buyers now begin vendor research in an AI chatbot rather than a search engine, up from 29% the prior year; 69% said AI led them to choose a different provider than they had planned. **Content & Resource Sites** — Churches, nonprofits, blogs, and educational resources compete to be the source AI cites when someone asks about their topic. A 2026 index synthesizing over 680 million AI citations found the top 15 domains capture 68% of all citation share. Clear authorship, structured FAQ schema, and content that directly and specifically answers the questions being asked are the primary signals that move a site from invisible to cited. ## Plans **Free ($0)** — One-time AI visibility scan across all four engines.
